At China Development Forum (CDF) 2025, Jeffrey Sachs, Professor at Columbia University, highlighted China’s leadership in green and digital technologies, as well as its global connectivity through the Belt and Road Initiative. He sees these developments as key drivers of economic growth.

Sachs noted that the forum, held right after the Two Sessions, provides a great opportunity to understand China’s trajectory. While U.S. policy instability may pose short-term challenges, he remains optimistic about China’s long-term growth.
